We have just wrapped up a package design for A Prairie Home Companion's Church People with Garrison Keillor.
It is a CD audio of skits, songs, stories, and more that reveal the secret world of a stalwart people. When you fly Lutheran Air, there’s no first class, meals are potluck with assignments by rows (rows 1-6, bring rolls; rows, 7-15, salad), all fares are by freewill offering, and the plane doesn’t land until the budget is met.
The assignment was to come up with a funny image without offending our Lutheran friends. How about the classic Lutheran cook book that, don’t ja know, is just full of tuna nuna casseroles and tatter top hot dishes. Yeah, you betcha ya.
